The Cast of First Time Long Time
 
JOHN SAVAGE / Peter - Best known for his star-making turn in the Oscar-winning film, The Deer Hunter, John Savage draws from a rich history of acting in feature films, television and theater.  With an extensive list of film credits, John has had leading roles in features such as Hair, The Onion Field, The Amateur and Inside Moves and memorable character-driven performances in The Thin Red Line, Do The Right Thing, Summer of Sam, Message in a Bottle & The Godfather Part III.  
 
On television, he starred in the remake of The Virginian and he played recurring characters in the first two seasons of James Cameron’s Dark Angel and in HBO’s revered series Carnivale. On stage, John appeared in the Broadway production of American Buffalo & Of Mice and Men among numerous other theater credits.
 
John is reunited with Amanda Plummer in First Time Long Time, having worked together on Cattle Annie and Little Britches earlier in his film career, a cast which also included Burt Lancaster, Diane Lane and Rod Steiger.
AMANDA PLUMMER / Maggie -  A multi award-winning actress, Amanda’s breakthrough role came when she starred in The Fisher King opposite Robin Williams.  Amanda is well known to film audiences for playing "Honey Bunny" in the Quentin Tarantino classic Pulp Fiction. Her diverse list of film credits include Butterfly Kiss, My Life Without Me, 8 1/2 Women, So I Married an Axe Murderer & Needful Things.
 
In addition to her vast film career, Amanda has also made her mark on Broadway, winning a Tony Award for the title role in Agnes of God opposite theater legend Geraldine Page.  She was nominated for a Tony two more times for Taste of Honey & Pygmalion.  On the small screen, Amanda's work has garnered her three Emmy Awards  - for the miniseries Miss Rose White,  The Outer Limits and most recently for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.  She also guest starred on L.A. Law, for which she received an Emmy nomination.
 
Amanda is reunited with John Savage in First Time Long Time, having worked together in her film debut Cattle Annie and Little Britches along with Burt Lancaster, Diane Lane and Rod Steiger.  
 
 
KAREN BLACK / Dr. Shneidel -  Karen Black is a legendary American actress who first came to prominence for her role in Easy Rider.  She was nominated for an Academy Award for Five Easy Pieces starring opposite Jack Nicholson, a role for which she won a Golden Globe.  Karen received a second Golden Globe for The Great Gatsby performing along side Robert Redford and Mia Farrow.  
 
Karen played a jewel thief in Alfred Hitchcock’s last film, Family Plot and was nominated for a Grammy Award for the music she wrote for her role in Robert Altman’s Nashville. Karen worked with Altman once again in a highly acclaimed turn opposite Cher in Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean.
 
Early in her career, Karen studied under Lee Strasberg in New York and worked in a number of off-Broadway roles. She made a critically acclaimed debut on Broadway in The Playroom. Her first major film role was in You're a Big Boy Now directed by Francis Ford Coppola.  Since then Karen’s career has spanned over five decades and over 100 film credits.
 
VANESSA LONG / Susie - Vanessa Long is a young up and coming Hollywood actress.  Her credits include a supporting role in You Don’t Mess With Zohan starring Adam Sandler.  Vanessa has a supporting role in the soon to be released XII.  Her other film work includes I’ll Meet You in Your Womb, Johnny Benson's Adventures in the Blogosphere & Jail Bait.  Vanessa is currently in development for a feature that she has written and will direct.
THOMAS MCKENNA / Mr. Kent -  Thomas is no stranger to comedy, having had a recent featured supporting role in Meet the Spartans.  Other film work includes Dark Chocolate, Miss Castaway & The Island Girls and Bamboo Shark.  On television, Thomas has appeared in Californication, Frank T.V., Mind of Mencia & Deadwood.  Having a debonair flair, Thomas has been highly sought after for commercial work, including spots for Duggans Scotch and L.G. Electronics.  On stage, he has appeared in the Los Angles production of Trainspotting.  Up coming projects include the feature film Victorian Cowboys.
JOHN CLARK / Lender #1 - An English native, John Clark began his acting career as a young child playing the role of schoolboy D'arcy Minor on BBC radio's The Will Hay Progamme. He went on to become a star as the original Just William on stage and radio.  After moving to NY, he appeared in Hostile Witness, Macbird, An Inspector Calls and A View From The Bridge.  He directed and produced for the stage Saint Joan, California Suite, and The Two of Us, starring Lynn Redgrave.  Most recently John served as co-writer, producer and director of Redgrave’s Tony-nominated play Shakespeare For My Father, which played on Broadway and The Haymarket in London.
PAUL TIGUE / Lender #3 - Paul recently completed Weak Species (with James Eckhouse and Erik Smith) and has appeared on Malcolm in the Middle, Scrubs, The Practice, Roswell, Providence, The Guardian, Good Morning Miami, Titans, Days of Our Lives, Young and the Restless, Spin City, What I Like About You & The Stones.  A graduate of the Yale School of Drama, he has appeared on stage in over 40 regional productions.
